My scorpion is not moving like he used to. I can touch him and flip him and he barly moves. I think either he is dying or molting. He is Not an adult. He keeps on moving to the light side of the tank. I put him in the shade when he moves to the light side. He is an Emperor scorpion. Does anyone know if he is dying or molting?

I hate to say it Eric but it sounds like it is on its last leg.

If he keeps moving toward the light it might be seeking more heat. I'd put the hide on the warmer side of your tank if it is still alive.

I know now he has no chance. I will check on him later see if he is alive. I think the tempature is good because he lives with two other scorpions and they are happy, healthy and pregnant.:D The one who is dying is the only male in the tank. So good things and bad things are happening..

If you think the temperatures are fine, you should check them out to be sure they are fine. If he's not mature and he's dying.. then there's a problem somewhere...
