I found a male Carpenter Bee this morning. He was still moving a bit so I brought him into work with me.
It has been extremely hot lately, with no rain, so I thought he might be dehydrated. I have tried giving him some sugar water, and he is still moving his front legs a bit, but I think he is just at the end of his life.
Is this the time of year when mature males die off?
