Drying out substrate

I hope this isn’t a stupid question.

I have some coco fibre and sand substrate to dry out for my Ts and scorps and can leave it by a window to do so.

But if I leave it in my conservatory, it’s like an oven and will take less time to dry. My only concern isthere are always one or two ants crawling around and I have a concern of parasites being laid in the substrate etc as it is an attachment of the house, not part of it.

Is this common to do/low/high risk?

Once again, sorry if this is a silly question.

I agree with @Poonjab. Not sure what creatures would pose a problem unless an ant queen got in and started a colony, but that is highly unlikely.

Thanks,
