I caught her out and about before lights out. I'm surprised she stayed there long enough for a picture.

love that mocha brown color they have
They are quite handsome.
It wasn't so surprising that she was out but that she was out while the light was on during the day so I could get a good picture.
At night, she does her thing and moves substrate around to keep busy. Seeing her stretched out on the side above ground is a treat.

i tricked the one i had to burrow along the side where i could see it .with a cork tube split in half length wise worked great until it tunneled to the middle of its cage:(

There are T setups one can make that force a T to tunnel against glass 100%.

They are a lot of fun.
Baboons are my jam but this species is unique.
Her being out was a big enough deal for me where I yelled for my daughter to grab our iPad.
What makes it so unique to you? Behavior? Temperament? Something else?

i got the idea from a post i read here a long time ago somthing about a tupper ware bowl ? or somthing and placing itright in the middle of cage. so only place they could dig is on the sides

Mainly behavior. But they have their own style.
I'm sure they seem like any other fossorial to most people but they have a little attitude and really dig.
I'm a softy for hard working shut ins.
