I sincerely want to say I'm sorry for you having lost your companion. Were you there? Did you go? I struggle daily over the recent loss of a few of mine. Still haven't sang "you are my sunshine" since.

Out of curiosity, do you want to "replace" her? Have you been looking around? This question bothers me: Is it worth it to get a dog (specifically), just like the one you just had? Will it make the heart/soul feel better? I don't know but my English Bulldog stopped being sad the moment he saw Mister Mister Gaylen the Grey. Instead of being sad he was P'ed off! Well now that's one way to get rid of sadness.

As for me, I'm still very sad. Its not a balloon, but words, get well soon.
