I was wondering if I can feed a jumping spider purely on hornworms and silkworms. They are easier for me to feed because my parents let me how them and you can put them in the enclosure and how them climb near your spider.

They both offer plenty of nutrients for your spider so they're great options. Spiders don't eat often and I'm sure your pet will thrive on a diet of those alone. I'm guessing your parents won't allow you to keep crickets. That's fine. They bite and can be a pain to keep. If you want to mix it up though here are a few more options that your parents might be okay with. Mealworms are cheap and easy to keep in the fridge, Dubia roaches are harmless to your spider and I keep mine in a small container in my closet since they like the dark. I haven't tried it, but I also hear that fly casters are an easy option. Just drop one in the enclosure and wait for it to hatch.

As long as it’s not dangerous, and is the right size for the jumping spider, most feeders are good!

Be cautious with hornworms. Some species are able eat very toxic plants which they are immune to and the chemicals, various glycosides, remain in their bodies.
