Do You Name Your Scorpion?

I only named my 2 first scorpions. Both are male Emperors called Amadeus and Mozart...

I just bought my first imperator and named him Baxter. I love the movie Anchorman so I named him after Ron Burgundy's pet. He's my little Gentleman lol.

Our Hadogenes troglodytes is called Citizen Snips

Mine turned out to be an H. paucidens . . . but I haven't renamed. Citizen Snips seems most appropriate for the genus.

I picked up a Heterometrus longimanus last weekend that I'm thinking of naming after a great explorer . . . details to follow in a new post tonight.
