I put around 15 armadillium vulgare in with my small hisser colony and a 3 weeks later I can only find 3. I'm assuming the rest dug into the substrate(coco-fiber)? Is that normal? I keep tempature at 80 degrees, and humidity between 70-80%

I knew they liked to hide under stuff but I couldn't find any thing about them actually digging, thanks a bunch :)

At least half of my isopods are somewhere under the dirt at any given moment. (Including the babies they just had, so I have no idea how many there are now. :D)

I can also confirm! I was digging through my forest box and most of my pillbugs were curled up in the ground, they love it. Even more so their babies, I have a bigger box with different kinds of isopods and the dirt is full with babies, must be hundreds of them, looks a little creepy from up close :d
