DIY Enclosure (Any suggestion?)

To cut some budget i decided to make my own glass enclosure which i've already designed accordingly, any suggestion on how thick should the glass be? or any other suggestions would be very much appreciated (like the construction material i should avoid etc.)

Search the forum, quite a few DIY posts for glass and acrylic.

If acrylic nothing less than 1/4” thick

If the "weight" it's not s problem, use glass. You can ask at your local glazier to cut some glass panels for cheap.

This is the blueprint of my enclosures, but you can make a simpler enclosure, or other desingns using hinges or guillotine style doors. Also they will give you a very good ventilation.
