About a year ago... (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600)

One of the babies after almost one year. I managed to keep 6 alive, and those 6 are doing quite well. I have no idea which instar, probably 4th. And yes, this species is small (the above scorpion is on fine - like beach - sand)

Some additional information: the adult female was wc in the state of Veracruz, between Xalapa and Veracruz city. It's a very small species and very secretive (latter is my observation), I rarely see the adult female, and if I do it's often in the night when I check with a small flash light or a UV light source. The juvenile is about 1cm (rough guess).

1cm after a year?!?! That is very small!

How big is the mother? I can't find much information on this species online.

Gravid mother on my finger (about a year ago). I'll see if I can come up with something better.

As far as I know this species was first described in 2003 or 2004 so there is very little information to find about it.

Do Diplocentrus species grow/molt slow in general?
