The dinosaurs are fantastic-but their creator joined the "prehistorians" who force their poor pterosaurs to "perch" on hindlimbs as unsuitable for perching as the limbs of bats are.
EVERYBODY forces the poor things to perch like birds.

They would have had no need to try.
Pterosaurs had wingclaws they could walk on...and several trackways suggest that they did.
Quite a sight-but I have NEVER seen this on exhibit.
Everybody tries to make them be "birds."
I have to draw them myself to see what a sight they can be.
They could have even been surprising in their sleep.
Their wingclaws were strong enough to support them asleep.
What a shame we don't get to see them asleep,awake,or just waking up...
