This is our second molt with my brazilian whiteknee.
The first one began and finished with in an hour.

This one, however, doesn't seem to be going as well.
I saw him laying a bed of web this morning, and knew he was ready to go.
I got home about 45 minutes ago, and he was on his back in the webbing, however he has not moved a bit.

We have 5 T's and I've been through a couple molts. From my experience they wiggle around in their attempt to break from their skin.

Brock has not moved.
Fearing he was dead, I blew lightly from the top of the tank and he responded by very slowly, gingerly lifting his legs.
I don't intend to bother him again.

Is there anything I can do, though?
The temp in here is 85 degrees, and the humidity in his cage is at 70%.

Thank you!

Temps are a tad high in my opinion.......

Other then that I dont hear anything wrong yet. Ts can take long periods of time to molt. Just the other day I had a 2.5" Klaasi take from 10pm to just before 6am to molt. So for now just watch and wait, and maybe drop that temp some to like 70-75.

Just wait it out...

I don't think Ts should be bothered at all till atleast 14 hours after they have flipped onto there back.

Anyways, just wait it out, the temps are a tad bit high, but not killer.

You are correct. He's begun to molt. It looks extra painful this time.
I am slowly beginning to see just how GIGANTIC he's going to become!
Thank you for your support.

Also, I dropped the temp in here to 75, and that seemed to help alot.

I'm pretty sure molting isn't painful, considering that arachnids don't really feel pain.

Anyways, congrats, and be sure to get sometime in the future.
