Different types of P. metallica?

On YouTube and internet, I have seen brown, black and of course the blues. Are they different types or subspecies or locale variants or just different color morphs?

They darken as they get older. An old female is usually almost black while younger ones are blue

From what i know P. metallica is only local to Gooty so i doubt it's thr locality

I think Goofy is the place where they first discovered p.Metallica, not where p.metallica is from.
