Yeah, I've always read that 1st instars don't eat. I'm raising half a dozen H. Longimanus where the mother died a few days after they were born. They didn't eat at 1st instar and are doing great. 1 just molted to 3rd instar and is really starting to look like a mini adult H. Longimanus. The claws are so cool. {D

I was actually gonna trade them all for a couple adults of some other species, but now I don't know. It might be worth getting another terrarium set up to raise these guys (right now they are in a critter keeper inside the 18'' cubed terrarium that the parents died in..a multi adult species communal tank..no they weren't eaten..just up and died). The parents were huge and wild caught so If I raise em right they might get even bigger :confused:
