She appears to have a dent in her metasoma. is this something to worry about?

My first scorpion had a dent in a pedipalp and it lived fine.
How long have you had it? If you've had it for a while and it's been okay then you shouldn't worry.
Just consider it a battle scar.
But if it just happened it could impact some of the structures that excrete feces.

im not sure when it happened.
ive had her since may and i've never noticed it untill just now.
most of the time i see her its just her claws poking out of her hide, so im not entirely sure...

If you have her since May, one.could assume she has no trouble defacating. Could be a battle scar, but I doubt it. More likely it is a deviation in cuticle growth, an example of teratology (google it)....
