Can a 1/2" spiderling be placed in a 16 ounce deli cup at all? Or should you wait until he gets larger? What is the best size to graduate up to a Deli Cup? As for 1/2" slings, what can you feed them besides pinhead crickets?

Go to a gas station that serves hot food and ask for one of those containers that they sell you the side of ranch dressing in. They are about 2.5" wide and 1.5" tall. They will usually just give you one or two, or charge you like a dollar for ten of em. Once it outgrows that, a 16oz container would be good.
And I feed all my little slings chopped up large crickets. If you dice em up, a large cricket can feed 4 or 5 slings at a time.

Cricket legs are good.

If you give them a larger cricket (pre-killed) just be sure to remove waste.

I often use small little side deli containers like ranch dressing, I also am liking the use of pill containers as well.
