Nice!
I saw they mentioned the Banana spider in this article and said it was Heteropoda venatoria, I thought banana spider was a 'nickname' for Proneutria fera (the brazilian wandering spider)?

Delena cancerides is an awesome species.

The term "banana spider" can refer to both Heteropoda venatoria (common huntsman) and Phoneutria fera (Brazilian wanderer).

In Florida, Nephila claviapes is also sometimes called a "banana spider"!

Speaking of their handleability, I can attest -- Soon after Arachnophobia came out, I saw some news program with a guy (possibly one of the spider wranglers for the movie) playing with one. He could keep it on a long wooden dowel indefinitely by just flipping it over and over (it climbed to the top). Occasionally the spider would drop down on a strand of silk, so he would put hand under it and then deposit it back onto the dowel. Very docile species of Huntsman (unlike the others I've seen).

Hi, Bill-

Any idea where one could acquire cancerides?
