On Monday night i saw that my tarantula (G.Rosea) was molting, by morning it had fully molted. Yesterday i noticed that one of it's legs was deformed :(

This is the first molt i have experienced and quite obviously anxious, Will He/She be OK? will it eventually Munch it off itself or just continue to live like that until it's next molt?

Thanks

Don't worry too much about it. She will be fine with her next molt. Sometimes Ts just have bad molts.

I think your G. Rosea is a boy. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I see swollen palps

I wouldn't worry about it. He's mature and not going to molt again and get tangled.

Time to find a girlfriend for the bugger. ;):D

Um... why would it matter when you got him? Mature means he hit that age...

That is a mature male. He might molt again, though if he does, a gimped leg will be the least of your worries. Better find him a gal!

Oh, rosea males tend to last longer than most, so you'll probably be able to enjoy his company for quite a while.
