Looks like it, I would put its mouth parts over a water dish so it can drink as much as it wants, or flip it over and administer water droplets directly.

I have some water on a cotton bud, he tried to climb on so I loved it onto his mouth but where he can’t back away I’m worried I will drown him

HE CAN drown but not unless hes in standing water, on a paper towel or cotton he wont. I'm sorry though, i believe i was just helping you with him before this. Sorry for your loss

Yes you were. I ended up waking up every half hour to make sure he was not on his back and yesterday morning he was when I woke up. He then fell onto it 5 more times and on the last one, after I turned him back over, I noticed that death curl started he died a few hours after thank you for all your help .
