It's odd, she did the same thing my old emp did, became very sluggish and out in the open (Downright weird for a very fiesty flat rock) Except this was a fairly young bug (Maybe 5 inches, gotten from Botar about a year ago)

Anyone have a clue what causes this? I'm baffled.

What was the temp of the enclosure? Did he have a good hiding place? I've also had a couple of them dying on me after a year or so when I first started keeping them. If their unhappy about something they start to stress and end up dying.
I'm not really the expert but after I gave mine more natural hiding places and added a better heat source(40W light bulb) they started acting more natural. So far I had no scorps dying on me again.

The temp was around 75-82, Our house is kept very cool in the winter but I don't think the in cage ever went below 75. And LOTS of hides.

I lost an Emp to a similar thing a while back, but that was in the summer.

She had a bulge on her last segment since I got her taht sort of made it crooked, but I was told not to worry about it (The bug had been utterly fine up until the last week)
