I see alot of people say this but with the exception of a very few species I see ( have seen) many of my Ts either completly out during the day or for alot of fossorial species at the mouth of there burrow..I don't see how an animal that almost never sees light, would require it for some reason. I mean if a nocturnal spider only comes out after dark, its whole life revolves around avoiding light.
I can say that the one I never saw out or near the mouth of the burrow was P.muticus.. I can't really think of any others
Allthough rare even some of the haplos I have had would be seen during the day close to the entrance of there burrow..
I think a diurnal cycle is beneficial..
