Can anyone help ID this Damon sp.?? It was sold as D. variegatus, but I know that is VERY rarely the case. From descriptions I’ve read about diadema and medius, it seems this may be medius? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It’s the reddish pedipalps that have me a little stumped. There was also a 3rd one that came with the other two which was DOA, but that one does not have the red pedipalps. Different color morphs? Male/female? Different species??

Different species, first 2 look like medius and the other ine looks like diadema
I wonder if that has anything to do with the 3rd (and smallest) one arriving deceased. Do you know if different species are aggressive to one another?
Has anyone housed different species together? Or is that just asking for trouble?

I would personally never house any whipspiders together, let alone members of the same species. I would separate them at all costs

It's not in the color, it's in the pedipalp spines. Too many for Euphrynichus.

Fully agree. No doubt about that.
There are a couple of other threads here with red-palped Damon from western Africa, take a look.
