i was just checking out my LP's little deli cup and i found some mites just now:barf:. i was keepin her way too moist when i first got her. i didnt realize how little they need to be misted. once she was in premolt i was keepin it humid so there weren't any molt probs. im guessin it was all the humidity that helped the mites ? maybe it was crappy crickets i had for her ? anyway i was taking her out for some pics then upon closer inspection i found mites. i put her in a new container with new substrate and everything. i hope that resolves the problem. i dumped the sub from the old container washed it out and threw it in the freezer so i could re-use it later.

i notice i start to get mite problems if i keep enclosure to moist and don't pick out boluses out regularly.

so watch your misting and pick out boluses if you find them
