Why do I feel like everyone hates me here?
The purpose of this site is to discuss arachnids. You are going off-topic. Your feelings might be due to paranoia or some kind of persecution complex. Relax, the perceived hatred isn't real, but it could conceivably become real if you don't relax about it and stay on-topic.

Now back to the spiders: did you know that certain species of pholcids exhibit an interesting defensive behavior when they feel threatened? They vibrate rapidly in their webs and can build up an oscillatory motion that presumably confuses and dissuades would-be attackers.
I don't know if you're sitting in an office chair that can swivel, or if it has a spring back, but if you start to feel hated, you might try mimicking the pholcid defensive behavior. It might help you if you don't get too dizzy or tip your chair over. Don't hurt yourself, but it's worth a try. We can learn a great deal from spiders. Good luck 👍

Let's put it another way. I'm not seeing any posts showing dislike. Just some people being a little pedantic.

As far as Pholcids go, the only thing a human can do for them is leave them alone. Self maintenance animals. You could put a piece of fruit near their webs to attract fruit flies. Most don't mind those little snacks now and then. Also, they can go for months without eating, or even moving. And a little interesting thing. The size of their web indicates quite well how much food they are getting. Little food, little energy spent making a larger web. The ceiling in the average unscreened bathroom in the tropics and you might get webs 2 feet across or more.
