I have a H. pulchripes who is about 2.5”and has a very plump bottom. Just found him/her flat on back as if to molt but instead got up and went back to hide. I didn’t intentionally disturb in any way....maybe felt vibrations of me entering room? Anyone ever witness anything like this? Healthy and great appetite otherwise. Took a small roach two days ago. Just chillin?

Human: “What were you doing?”
Tarantula: “Nothing.”
Human: “You can tell me.”
Tarantula: “Nothing, really.”
Human: “Really?”
Tarantula: “Really, really.”
Human: “Okay...”
Tarantula: “Okay...”

Normal. Will probably molt later tonight or in the week.

Mines a total wack job. Half the time it’s on the side of the enclosure even though It has webbed the substraight. It just molted to a whopping .75”. Thinking of moving It to an amac cube and see how it fares in a larger setup.
