Does anybody know if there are laws concerning collecting true spiders, centipedes and scorpions in the U.S. and then bringing them back to Canada across the border?????

Yes, there are. You need a permit.

I found this site: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/plaveg/oper/orglste.shtml saying that you don't need a permit to bring spiders, scorpions or centipedes (as long as they're not on cites). And I have called several people concerning border control and such, asking about my tarantulas, and they said it would be fine, and every single one of them referred me to that website.

I would suggest looking around on some government websites and making a few phone calls to make sure.

No permits to bring them into canada, but you need permits to leave the US with them
