"Cricket water pillows"?

has any one ever tried the zilla cricket water pillows?? i got some and will test them out for my roaches to see how well thay work. thear allso reuseible.
let me know if u have used them and ur experances. and do thay work well with roaches?

hmm, ive been wondering the same thing
ive seen them at the pet store, but i honestly dont want to buy them if i dont need them

man, my roaches realy love them!! cant keep them off the things, lol.
so far thay are doing great, it says u can reuse them over and over until thear soiled so badly u have to throw them out. so far thay seem to work as well as the gell crap.

I used them for crickets and found that I had insane die-offs. Apparently you have to rinse them out and add fresh water like every day or 2 days maximum otherwise the pillows act as a breeding ground for bacteria.

its just water jell in the little packets. its the fiber packet that is the problem.
So the solution? throw them in the trash and get some water crystals and hydrate them your self and use them in a dish.
simple huh?
and you can get them for 1-2 bucks per oz if you dont need to buy them by the pound. I think 1 oz does close to a gallon of hydrated jell
pm me if you need a few oz. i generally keep a pound or 2 around lol
