Not really. Most of the cricket diet you purchase is fortified with calcium which to my understanding isn't good for tarantula's since they don't have bones. Also it's much cheaper to make your own.

For my roach colony i just grind up some old fashioned oatmeal and high quality cat or dog food.

They have 2 different flukers cricket diet. One has high calcium. But its just cheaper to use a good dog food. Dont go for the cheap stuff. Use the high end stuff. i use royal canine brand. Also use merrick brand turducken flavor. :D As long as its a quality brand and they love to eat it, you cant go wrong. :D
