Hi all,
My A.seemanni is the wierdest spider I have ever owned. It is a 4" female that produced an infertile eggsac and has not eaten since (several months). Her abdomen is extremely thin to the point where the booklungs are on the side of the abdomen, not the bottom. She absolutely will not eat regardless of the method. She lets crickets crawl on top of her and sit. I always keep a full water dish and humidity around 70%.
Anyways, I found her today(alive) submerged in her water dish with just her legs sticking out onto the edges. Her booklungs are fully submerged and most of her body as well. Should I leave her alone? or is she trying to kill herself like some other people on the forum have had a problem with.
Any insight greatly appreciated for this wierd tarantula!
Thanks in advance,
Mark
