could the slightest disturbance cause a bad molt?

so I just looked at my aphonopelma seemani lying on its back I know it's molting but I was wondering if it is okay to move the enclosure out of the shelf and shine a light on it would that cause it to have a bad molt or startle it? Just want to play it safe and not cause any harm to the spider

I would try to disturb her as little as possible. Do not move the enclosure unless you have to intervene (during a bad molt). It's OK to peek in every now and then with a light.

The first molt is always an exciting time! I still get excited (and a little nervous until they're out safely) whenever my tarantulas molt.

Yeah as @Ungoliant said don't move the enclosure but it's ok to have a peek now and then with or without a flash light, you could stand and watch the whole process if you want to, even with a flash light, I've watched mines hundreds of times this way.

Even though we've both seen it loads of times @Ungoliant it's fascinating to watch isn't it - almost alien like - love the new colours and the growth - especially when it's a new addition.
