Found one of these on my pants after I came in from feeding the chickens this morning. I thought it would be a nice pet for my daughter. Her crickets finally died. She has yet to notice, but I am glad. They were crazy loud.
Anyway, I assume they eat fruit, but what kind? Can they eat other things?

They also enjoy sap. You can give them watered down maple syrup on a cotton ball. Fruit is the easiest imo

They enjoy soft, sweet fruit like ripe (or over-ripe) figs and peaches. The fruit should be cut open, making it easier for them to get to the good parts.

Hello JumpingSpiderLady, if you are from Kentucky, it would actually be a Cotinis nitida - kept and fed the same as suggestions above though..
