correct amount of substrate for arboreals?

Considering that in their native surroundings the continental crust could have several kilometers, then...is up to you.


A couple of inches would be enough to help with the humidity requirements.

yea I imagined so I just read all these different opinions on the subject and was making sure im not doin something wrong

doesnt need to be silly amounts. Use 20% vermicule and some spaganum moss to hold humidity, sub is really for show and to aid humidity with arboreals, they will probably only touch it once a week if the enclosure is high enough. Just enough so it doesnt end up bone dry within 24 hours of watering. I tend to use quite a bit with pokies tho, as the tube hides i use take a lot of holding and covering.
