Contortionist boehmes!?!

Thus far ive had tremendous luck keeping tarantulas alive and healthy, except for Brachypelma boehmeis. I bought a hatching a few weeks back, got it home, opened the lid to put in a pin head cricket and it ran out of the cup, under my table, and off to who knows where, more than likely will never be seen again... I got a 2nd one about 3 days ago, and had it in a hotwheels car crystal collecters box thing, with 2 small holes drilled in the back... Well, its gone. Either theres a curse in my home against boehmeis, or they are a cross between a spider, a contorionist and Hoodini, I cant fathom how it could of got through such a small hole!!! SO.. I give up on the beautiful boehmei... Its not meant to be

Sorry about your losses. Maybe you should try again with some that are a little bit bigger.

How about something bigger and BETTER!!!

I mean seriously, were here because we want to raise dope spiders, not some whack T like like Aphonopelma boehmei I mean Brachypelma boehmei. I mean fo shizzle my nizzle, a real man would raise Acanthoscurria geniculata not A or B. boehmei yo.

Hey! I have A_geniculata, H_maculata & Boehmei......and believe me there is no such thing as "BETTER" than Boehmei..........IMO anyway

Maybe you should try may a 1" or a litter bigger. I have a 1/4" and had no probs with it and sorry about your losses.
