looks like a tarantula because I see hairs, I maybe wrong but other people that are more knowledgeable to me when it comes to true spider might help you. good luck

I would've guessed some sort of of Myg but not a tarantula (trapdoor maybe), need a better pic and size reference though really...

its a sparassid,sold as a black huntsman.i had a female come in but never found a sp it fit into..

Hmm... eye arrangement doesn't look like a sparassid to me, more like a ctenid...

I am pretty sure, you're right... I mean still this is a Ctenid... (Ctenus?, Africactenus?)
I sent the pics to Rudy Joque... maybe can he identify the genus...
