I have a common pinktoe that has a thirty day old eggsack. She never lets go of it and keeps it underneath her. How would I go about getting out the eggsack?
You get to use the classic diversion tactic....... get tongs or something that puts some distance from your hand and the T...... then basically you prod and piss her off...... try to do anything to get her to let go, when she does then take tongs in your other hand and snatch the sack.
Sometimes just the presence of you trying to bother her is enough to make her move away and let go..... other times I have had to poke her a few times and push her to let go.
Oh you can try dropping a food item in there with her to. She may elect to kill and eat leaving you free to take the sac.
