Are there are health issues or concerns with cohabitating Madagascar Hisser with an adult female Grammastola Pulchripes?

It would yield to pretty much a same result as cohabitating a human and a wild tiger. Rest is your imagination.

Perhaps some obesity issues for the spider as well, and they can lure it onto the ceiling...

It's also entirely possible that a hungry roach gets ignored or hides and one night stumbles across an all you can eat molting buffet.

Wow, I am. truly amazed at the level of response! Thank you all for being there. It is heartening to know that there is such great community dedicated to the perpetuation and preservation of our arachnid friends.

@DomGom Excellent concern, however she is a 15 year old Lady Spider who is not likely to molt or even hunger.

Hissers have sharp spines on their legs too, and are willing to defend themselves, and very strong. With that spider it's probably not going to happen, but on the chance of really bad luck, it could get an abdominal tear. It's really only an appropriate meal for like a full grown Theraphosa blondi or stirmi IMO.

Thanks for your words of wisdom, much appreciated. Perhaps better kept separate as a rule. There haven't been problems as of yet and I'm definitely thinking about developing handling skills. Lydia8.png zombies? What the value of a typo is, who could ever know?
