I purchased a Brachypelma emilia 'sling last march and everthing was goin fine until about 1.5 months ago. She early June but then when I tried feeding her a few days later she had an odd response. She would pounce on the crickets or roaches, but she seemed unable to feed properly. The prey would just run off and I would have to remove them later. After a while she started losing weight. Luckily, without any successful feedings for the time between molts, she molted last Sunday and has since consumed two meals. I didn't think she had much of a chance as small as she was. (She now barely fits on a half dollar coin.) Just thought it was interesting. Still don't know why she had problems. Everything externally looked fine, but whatever was keeping her from eating doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.
