Cleaning question

I acquired some chlorhexadine scrub from school and was wondering if I could use it to clean cages. I've heard about people using the solution, but I'm not sure if they are exactly the same active ingredients. Would it be fine to use this?

It works great on snakes.You could actually put 2" in bottom of tub places snake in it while cleaning cage and use it again,for next snake.
I would imagine it would be good for inverts,but not real sure.Good question.

must be diluted 25cc to one gallon of water.

Thanks for the info. Ya I also meant to ask about how it is with inverts, because I'm a little stumped on what to clean water bowls with.

I clean with just hot water and refill with bottle water
