A beautiful beetle, it looks voracious.
I suspect that the lifespan after emergence isn't long though?

That is ridiculously beautiful! Are these only native to Japan that you know of? Great shots! So you have them in culture? Sorry for all the questions...I'm simply floored by that specimen and have a soft spot for tigers:D

Could you please let us know some more info about how you keep them and how did you manage to have success with the breeding?
Some photos of the enclosure would be great too.

Tbh its the first time I read about CB predatory beetles (but that's just me).
Maybe the same set up could work for other beetles like Anthia spp.!

WOW! I don't know how you got those photos....those things run pretty fast and hardly ever seem to stop for anything, no?
