Well, I thought tonight would be the night. I've been busy lately and haven't been able to take the time to pair these again. I had some time tonight and so I set them up. He was added into her enclosure on the opposite side from her. He worked his way around and she turned. They both were touching raised front legs. He did the front leg tickle thing and I just knew he was in. Then she jumped at him trying to end his life. He once again dodged her and got the heck out of there. I moved him back into his enclosure and closed her's back up.

So this attempt was a bust as well. At least he made it out of there alive.

Just keep trying. Do you think she was genuinely attacking or just got a bit overzealous?

Paired my 8 year old female after her last molt, but I bought a giant steralite tub and set her cage in it. He got to drink and rest before pairing since he flew in, and he slowly wooed her out of her enclosure. They tapped immediately, and she didn't eat him, but she was not going back home, and he seemed to want to leave as soon as possible. Now she is looking very big and I am so hopeful.
