Ha! A woman that worked with my brother saw and street name on a sign on her way to work, and the street was called Chihuahua st. She had never seen it spelled before. When she got to work, she asked my brother, "What's ChaWhoahWhoah mean?" That's something I would do but...it wasn't me so it was funny . All those are nice looking little dogs. Mine just disappeared one night.

Definite kudos to people who love their dogs, but I don't like little dogs either! It's not because of behaviour, either, it's because of the little high-pitched yaps and I don't like the idea of my dog running around my ankles! I like a dog I don't have to bend over to pet.

I just got a happy feeling in my heart after looking at those pics -- reminds me of my family's coon hound, Iris, and her stuffed armadillo, Woolly Nelson. But don't let the pics fool you! If Cici thinks someone is threatening her precious Sarah, she can get vicious!! She's sometimes tries to attack me if I move too quickly around Sarah, even though I would never dream of hurting my lil sis! *hug*

Actually, there is an evolving etiquette for naming hybrid dogs...since a cross
between a Pekingese and a poodle is a "Pekapoo" a cross between a
Chihuahua and a poodle should be a "Chihuapoo;" whereas a cross between a
Pekingese and a Chihuahua should be a "Pekahua."

P.S. "Chihuahua" is PRONOUNCED "Chiwahwah," but it is not spelled that way
because Mexican spelling is as distinctive as the Mexican breeds are.
