Chilobrachys fimbriatus

HI,
Last week I recived my first Asisan T: Chilobrachys fimbriatus. Can everyone help me with him. I know that he is aggresive and terrestrial, but that is all. Any other informations are welcome.

Hey Ben,

I can't call myself an expert on this, but I've got mine in (2 inch juvenile) in 4 inches of moist Sphagnum Peat moss, and It still hasn't come out of it's old vial into the new enclosure. Crickets are dissapearing, however, so I know the thing is alive. Thus far, I have seen two front legs and two pedipalps of this T. Don't expect to see this obligate burrower much.

That said, I got one just in the odd chance I might get to see a full grown version once or twice a year.. they are truly gorgeous T's.

Edit: I saw four legs today!!!...briefly.

Make sure you give it enough room to grow. After every molt mines widens it's tunnels and goes deeper.

Dang! I wanted to get one of these, as it is the most beautiful tarantula that I have ever seen. I had no idea that it is an obligate burrower.
