I have a sling of this sp and it's taking eons to grow, this is very strange behaviour though, the only thing I can think of is humidity isn't high enough but then again they are a dry species

Flipping on its back in the water dish? ...:?
Never heard of that one before.

How shallow is the water dish?
If WARPIG finds this thread, I'm sure he'll show you a pic of his spider after a molt on a waterdish. IIRC, she did it several times.

I had a A. Metallica that all the sudden started laying upsidedown in her waterdish for hours...then shortly after she got very sick and developed symptoms of DKS..if I were you, I would just keep a very close eye on her, keep her temp and humidity up and let her do the rest. Good luck.

she molted around 3 weeks ago
It is possible to molt twice in a row, about three weeks apart. I had an adult vagans do that. Not sure if there was something wrong with the first molt or what. I certainly didn't see a reason for it.

She's alive and well now though.

Walking like a drunk is a bad sign for tarantulas, but hopefully this gives you a ray of hope.
