Even if it wasn't mentioned, I think I would've automatically thought of Cherries when I saw that pic. You can't get any more suitable than that for a common name.
Sean, that pic you linked to looks like a Chinese or Malaysian S. subspinipes to me. Possibly S. s. de haani. Definitely different than the Malaysian Cherry.
