Chameleon + Mosquitoes?

Over this past summer I built my veiled chameleon a large metal cage lined with netting. In just the past day or so, swarms of mosquitoes have erupted all over my neighborhood. I'm not too worried though cause my cham is cold blooded and doesn't sweat, making him harder to find. What do you guys think? Thanks ~ Rex

Are you concerned that the Cham will get bit or that the Cham will eat some of the skeeters?

I'm worried about my Cham being bitten, seeing as I was out there for about 15min and got eaten alive. I'm seriously covered in bites, luckly they don't itch to much. ~ Rex

don't worry about that; mozzies feed on mammalian blood. they home in on scent and bodywarmth. a reptile is invisible to them!

reptiles have their own scourge; mainly ticks and mites. for mozzies their skin is way too thick.
