Hey Tony I'm going off memory here but I believe this was your male gotta check my files to be sure but drop me a line if he was. :)

10/17/02 this guy has a go with one of 3 females.

Both palps inserted all looked good. Regardless I kept rotating him amongst the 3 females until he had mated dozens of times and eventually got munched. I am a firm believer in that using them till they are gone is the way to go as you can never be sure if the mating actually took or not.

7/11/03 Looked in one one of the females and was surprised to find a nice big sack. There was however a problem as she couldn't get it fully rolled up right and I felt she would munch it as I've seen this on females that failed to get it rolled tight before so I bit the bullet and yanked the sack from her despite it being day one.

Couldn't get an accurate count but I feel pretty good in saying there were over 1000 in there.

I expected them to be bad having pulled them so soon but surprisingly on 7/25/03 way sooner than I expected they had started to bud.

Been waiting for them to darken as lots could have still gone wrong but today they are darkened up and nearing a molt so I'm pretty much out of the rough water so to speak.

With the good comes the bad I suppose as not nearly all made it. It's looking to be somewhere around 160 to 180 possibly 200ish but I haven't tried to get to accurate as I'm being really gentle with them and would rather be patient than to push them around too much.

Anyway that's the scoop coulda been more but I'm not complaining as a couple hundred of anything is good news in my book any day of the week. :) Gonna be needing your address when they get a couple more molts in Tony. I was going to wait till they were moving around but they are pretty much idiot proof at this point from what I gather and I didn't wanna keep ya hanging any more than I had to. Like I said I prefer to wait and give good news rather than build up ones hopes before it's really time.

Nope no rotation just left em alone after spreading them out in the incubator.
