Me and my fiance have only been in the hobby for about 6m or so. I got an Egyptian huntsman spider with 1 leg. The arachnids expert assured me that he would grow it back. He's eating and drinking fine but he recently dropped another leg. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or if he just wasn't going to make it but even now he still eats and drinks. Why would this happen?

Hello
My male dropped a leg aswell. Why? No clue.

Just an advice, is this sand? They tend to burrow so you need a mix of Sand with a touch of clay.

Regards

Hmm it is sand. I used black so he could stand out more but i will add the clay. Maybe thats why hes not burrowing.

Don’t use clay, these live and make burrows in fine sand. Try to remove any decor other than something for it to hide and construct it sburrow under

Okay. Do you know why it would randomly drop a leg even though he eats and drinks as if normal?

Source?
I saw a lot struggle to start a burrow with "fine Sand", either you buy one that has clay included or you add some powder.
One example is the Video of "Spider cafe".
