While hunting milipedes and isopods, I found these guys! Wild collection and identification is something I am very new at, so please take it easy if I get it wrong.

This is the first of two. Based on the head and tail shape, overall length and robustness of the legs, I believe this to be a soil centipede (Strigamia bidens) if so, is it safe to keep with isopods and milipedes?

This second guy I am having trouble with. I am leaning towards Cryptopid centipede (Theaters californiensis) but it could be a bark centipede?

If anyone has any tips on telling the two apart, it would be most appreciated.

I think the second one is Scolopocryptops gracilis or something closely related. Theatops have very distinctly thick and relatively short terminals compared to the specimen you found.
