Caught in the act! Tarantula grooming

I’ve had my g. rosea (porteri...probably?) for 5 years. With the addition of 2 new neighboring Ts to her shelf a couple of weeks ago, she has come to life and is exhibiting behaviors other than statue.

I was thrilled when I caught her grooming. In clip 2 you can see her beautiful fangs going to work.

I feel a little like a vengeful ex, recording her bath without permission and broadcasting it online. But I hope she knows this is how I show my love.

I just now caught my
Avicularia avicularia grooming herself. First time owning tarantulas this year and I never knew tarantulas did this type of behavior. It was after finishing her meal she started cleaning herself, very interesting.
