Caterpillar infestation

I was picking some mint and found a little caterpillar sac and saw that it didn’t look right. Upon closer inspection it appeared to be infected by some larvae of some bug. What is this

Yea I have no clue what that is but it certainly looks creepy whatever those grow up into there will be a lot of them! By the way what general area do you live in can you describe it more, I love to do reasearch id be happy to look into it!!

Parasitic wasp maybe

Some type of parasitic wasp would be my guess.

I wouldn't rule out certain flies. Much more prolific than most wasps.
